Obviously an old Bosch Coil.
This was in parts from the main dealership I bought out. They had a big and BUSY small engine department.
I don't think this is a used part, it would be in better condition had they put it in some sort of packaging. Missouri humidity is hard on steel if it is not covered with paper. This being said ,I guarantee that this work or your money and shipping cost back.
