Retaining RING

All Retaining/Snap RING spec's come from an AGCO Quick Reference Book. I try to validate these specs to the actual part before listing here. Some are close, some are dead on and some a mile off.
These specs mean a couple of things;
1, EXTERNAL Rings go by the actual OD of the Shaft Size, NOT the OD of the Ring Groove.
2, INTERNAL Rings go by the actual ID of the "Housing", NOT the ID of the Ring Groove.
T = Thickness, say along the shaft from left to right.
W = Width, if the ring is laying horizontal, the amount of meat between the inside and outside of the ring. This measurement can get tricky for the uninitiated.....and for some of the initiated as well.
